How a Rhinoplasty is Performed
The surgical technique for your custom surgery will reflect the shape of your nose and the enhancements needed. Nose surgery may involve repositioning the nasal bones or altering cartilage shape. Fat transfer or dermal fillers may also be used in tandem to achieve your ideal outcome. If you are experiencing trouble with breathing, Dr. Afrooz may correct the septum or the turbinates within the nasal cavity to improve airflow and restore a healthy nasal structure.

Different Rhinoplasty Techniques
Open rhinoplasty
With this approach, an incision is made at the base of the columella, the thin strip of tissue separating your nostrils. This approach allows for a comprehensive reshaping of the nasal structures.
Closed rhinoplasty
Here, the incisions are placed within the nostrils – an appropriate surgical approach for minor nose shape corrections.

Consultation Fee
In consideration of Dr. Afrooz’s time and expert evaluation of your case, a consultation fee of $175 is collected at the time of scheduling. This fee is credited in full toward your procedure with Dr. Afrooz should you choose to move forward.
Insurance
At our private-pay aesthetic practice, we do not accept any form of insurance at this time.
However, we understand that some procedures, such as those for a deviated septum or hooded eyes, may qualify for reimbursement through your insurance provider. For patients seeking reimbursement, we can provide an operative report, including Dr. Afrooz’s diagnostic and surgical CPT codes. You may submit this documentation directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. If you have any questions about this process, our team is happy to assist in providing the necessary paperwork.
